He has a auburn handlebar mustache and slicked back auburn hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Baern was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Baern fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barber but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd mother left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Olrok and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eberdeb embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
