History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nicholas has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: Born in the south to a Sculptor, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Cask learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She tends to her Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a crush on the local cartwright

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born in the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Animal Trainer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.
