History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Prosperine enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her first spouse was a Shoemaker, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She tends to her Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
