History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nalaed embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Fargas hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: A 3'2" northern woman, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. With bright red hair. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and balancing her hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his daughter

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is content; and to end her boredom

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tabaxi, and stands approximately 5'10". She wears a pastel collared shirt and brown skirt. She accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt, and her gloved hand is found clutching a monstrous two handed axe. Her fur is short and gray. Her eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by lycanthropy.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a merchant and was forced into it by her family
