History: Alston was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
