History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vistra was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Courier father left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Kody was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Left-Handed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
