History: Adran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shanairla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
