History: Balifra hails from a village terrorized by drow. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Balifra was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Spear was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Spear's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
