The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
