History: Dadalan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Junk Dealer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Engraver but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Decarabia fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Fallthra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Fallthra has worked very hard to control her curse. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
