History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
