History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Nella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Servant, and she later adopted a second son.
