History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Vola and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Vola discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Vola fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a Seamstress, her father struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Dondon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Pûg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
