Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is an epitome of beauty. Her white hair is knotted and matted. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her small brown hat.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Gifted from a young age, Jarana studied abroad. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. She became a Shoemaker soon after.
Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and further expansion of business

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.
History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mayor who has hired her part-time. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
