She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Azza was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: Mastema wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Mastema was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Mastema was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mastema decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with.
