Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mardred embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mardred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control.
