History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Valorean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Priest. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Priest responsibilities is difficult; and she would like to get married and retire

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
