Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. His auburn hair is braided into rings. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Umpen has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a green collared shirt and brown skirt. She accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. She wears a top hat to hide her balding. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Criella took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She bought a sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Detective. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers.
