History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Helja was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
