Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Thomas reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and retire the richest woman in the west

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Aelar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: She stands about 3'1" and dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Mardnab was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Mardnab's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Oren took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
