Through the years after Nora was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
