He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Fisher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
