History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Oda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Xanaphia hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ella grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Ella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to be a fisher again

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with her Seamstress father left her crippled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Therai lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
