History: Gaaki was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dagnal embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dagnal grew up listening to her father's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Xanaphia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Xanaphia. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and obtaining odd cultural tabaxi artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Erdan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Erdan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west.
