History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Helen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bryseis studied abroad. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
