History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Saphara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Saphara. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rosamund grew up listening to her father's many stories. Rosamund abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter.
