History: He comes from a rich northern family. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Soapmaker born in the past three hundred years. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Eiravel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has worked as a Soapmaker like his father before him.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Mastema alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Mastema was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
