History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ortegar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miller, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
