History: Tethren hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Tethren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Curran reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away.
