History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. She struck the Brewer job and began her own company from there.

Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He usually wears his tan robe and has his ceremonial dagger always slung over his shoulder. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Soapmaker born in the past three hundred years. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.
