History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Avelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Avelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
