Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are white and catlike.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Astar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Astar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Astar and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Xappan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Xappan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat, marred by beers. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Beiro hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his youth he was a Interpreter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: Huru was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.
History: Left-Handed was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and retire the richest woman in the south
