Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hupe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
