History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Zook took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Nala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Medrash was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Detective. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her childhood dream was to be a Guard, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Beggar soon after.
