Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Valorean was born the youngest of three triplets. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She tends to her Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Egelina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Egelina. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
