Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she desires power and/or immortality

His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
