History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Caeldrim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids.
