Personality: He is happy with his job as a Guard. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Dyer.

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She is portly but not overly obese. Her fur is brown and curly. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.
History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Spring learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and expand her business

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rose embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Keyleth's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Warrior school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a navigator again

Personality: Anbera is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Shoemaker profession.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but she was a colossal failure. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
