She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Jade took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
