History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Mara was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Carpenter. During her travels, Mara and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mara discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mara fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
