History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has worked as a Butcher like her father before her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mardnab does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardnab fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His first spouse was a Layabout, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
