Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Server, his mother struggled to pay the bills. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bowyer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
