Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mara is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Mara has worked very hard to control her curse. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aerdeth grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Aerdeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
