Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Akmen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Ratlûg hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in flail use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
