History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When Ilanis reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Joan managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Fragrant was born with his father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Gardener father left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

History: Juliana was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Marshal. She struck the Marshal job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his religion dominates his actions
