He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rose was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Rose was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rose decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His hair is golden and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aelar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
