History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Being a Mercenary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Salasar and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He got into the Mason business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
