Description: 6'0" and muscular, this northern woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Her blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Avelina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Description: This late middle aged man is wearing a long, black cloak and is in decent physical shape. His white hair is thinning but still full. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Mayor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a fancy brown suit. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he seems to be bored by most things

Outside of the suit she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. Her black hair is singed and shortened. She has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: She is a Dyer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His white fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.
Personality: Trail hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is an amazing painter.
History: Born to a Ruler, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
