Personality: Ethereal wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Shifting's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Shifting learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle
