She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Philomena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She tends to her Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
